Esaaf is a fantastic feature film (starring Saudi comedy legend Ibrahim Al Hajjaj) that we were delighted to be brought on board for. Instructed by Blacklight Films in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Entertainment Advice provided a comprehensive legal and business affairs service across the whole of the production, from the initial engagement of the writer, through to the key financing and commissioning agreements, all production work (ATL HODs and key cast, BTLs, all service agreements etc.), through to post production and delivery.
Working closely with the team at Blacklight and the director Colin Teague (twice Bafta nominated) and producer Peter Smith (ex MBC, NBCU), we were overjoyed to see the final film reach the silver screen, and watch it rapidly become the number 1 film in KSA, staying in the Top Ten in KSA for over 10 weeks.
